Growing up in different parts of the world, Olya and Nelson met in Germany and then went on to Italy, where they created maremare_italian adventures three years ago to share their experience and knowledge in Italian tourism and help you create an unforgettable vacation.

Nelson was born in Italy (Sicily), but was educated in America. A PhD and a graduate engineer, he began to get involved in history in school and even worked as a guide in italy for some time.

Olya was born in Moscow, but moved to Germany 10 years ago. An economist by education, she always loved history and travel.

“I came to Italy for the first time 20 years ago, but I really fell in love with her recently when I was re-introduced to her by the locals. Sicily won my heart. The mysterious town of Erice, located high in the mountains, became my second home.
Italy has always found a response in the soul of the Russian people. Many famous artists and writers considered it their second homeland. Once you come here you fall in love exclusively with everything, nature, architecture, lifestyle, hospitable and some incredibly sunny people.
My love for everything Italian led me to organize private routes. There was an overwhelming desire to share their impressions, knowledge, secrets.
